NO NO NO. I read ghostwriting, writers who ghost write are not credited.

This is actually bothering me...is there a title out there that I
didn't jump on because it didn't have one of my favourite creators on
it? Or is this all some elaborate hoax? :( If there
is another John Byrne title out there somewhere I want to be buying it.

Now the potential pen name is getting the customary kudos. Well, it's not quite getting out of hand but it is funny.

This thread is very entertaining. It's facinating how a seemingly innocent comment can mutate into rumor and even into a full-blown conspiracy theory!
Personally, I think JB could easily be telling the truth as he is such a workaholic I wouldn't be suprised if he was writing something on the side "non-traditional" (like Powerpuff Girls) and didn't openly advertise the fact.
The only way I can think of to tell if it's JB's writing for sure is if the phrase "it feels like someone just stepped on my grave!" shows up. That one seems to pop up at least *once* in nearly every JB series and he's the only person I've known to use that expression!

Well, I cast my vote upthread, but since it is so speculative, I want
to be polite to the real AJ Lieberman, so he knows that I have enjoyed
the books that I have read.
If figure that if a wild goose chase has gotten me to these titles, and I enjoy them, then I should let AJ know.
If you know what I mean.

If JB was joshing, I hope he never admits it. If he was telling
the truth, I hope he doesn't admit it until he stops writing the
mystery book.

Didio must LOVE this.
I just bought a frickin' PPGirls comic. That's found money for DC!
John, you so funny!

Hmm leaked and prong... Aquaman perhaps?
nah... does Blue Devil still have a series?
I give up.

Do you think it would be possible to write a comicbook using nothing but Claremontisms?

Why not CC did it for 16 solid years on Uncanny X-Men? But since I read every issue of his original run I can hardly complain.
