I read once that baking soda can cure any teeth problems. I don't believe it (well, not without further research) and I'd rather leave it to the professionals. :)

Well,baking soda is mildly abrasive and absorbs smells so it may be good for removing stains on teeth,and of course Arm and Hammer produce a toothpaste with baking soda!
