I don't deserve the "like" because of the initial typo. Ugh!

Dentists scare me. It's quite an intimate body part to have someone working on. I don't mind someone injecting my arm, working on my foot or anything like that, but leave my teeth alone! ;)

Robbie, I get the teeth cleaned 2-3 times a year, it scares me to lose my teeth. The dentist I go to is great. So far so good.

I'm a tad bit skeptical about dentists. I hadn't gone to a dentist in 15 years. I have no fear of them, I just didn't have dental insurance for the longest time. When I finally went, the dentist was all set to give me a Stern Talking To -- until he finished the exam and had to admit my teeth and gums were in perfect shape. (He seemed vaguely disappointed.) In the two years since, I have had two small cavities (my first) and a small degree of gum recession. Coincidence? Inevitability? Maybe. But a friend of mine is convinced that all the scraping and poking dentists do is actually detrimental to teeth, and I'm not sure I disagree.

She'd scrape at it for what seemed like hours, eyes focused on some lost horizon. Didn't help the tooth!

A big reason I'd want it as Mr. Byrne's avatar would be to have his posts stand out more...sometimes if I'm pressed for time, I'll scroll though looking for his...nuggets....and they're easier to find with a distinct avatar!

As many of you know, I have the bells and whistles turned off on the Forum, so I don't see avatars. Don't know why Rogie got punted!

So every member could start using that pic as their new avatar and JB would never know...
