Real life interceded, but I finally got around to getting the full size scan into the gallery.

Maybe I'm an alien, but I never understood why Alpha Flight being Canadian would be a turn off for some readers.

Were they? I thought AF was one of Marvel's biggest sellers during JB's run.
Back on topic, love this commission. Sasquatch is one of those characters, in my opinion, that no other artist can do justice to.

Fantastic! Alpha Flight in JB's hands is always a welcome sight, and this one crackles with energy.

Nice one, JB. Your rendering of Sasquatch is especially attractive. Very tricky to capture and delineate the muscles under fur like that and make it look authentic and believable. Educational as well as entertaining for me.

The higher-resolution version in the gallery is even better. The features of Snowbird's face are so delicate, the mud-crumbly texture of Tundra so very gunky.

Hi everyone. I am the super lucky recipient of this commission!!! It is a gift from my wife for my upcoming 40th birthday on Oct 3rd. I am really excited to see it in person and put it on display in the house.
Alpha Flight has always been my favorite team and Sasquatch is my favorite character. I knew that any commission I had made would include AF but it was really tough coming up with a specific idea. It was torture! I am very pleased with what we came up with and how it turned out. :)
