If I can add an idea in.

When Sue is wearing her Fantasti-shirt, maybe we can thicken up the collar.

Orlando, the page looks great. My only concern (and this might be personal taste) is in the first panel. As a storytelling element the destroyed gizmo seems to be an element to get right. Neither over playing it or, here, underplaying it will serve the story. I also feel that Sue's Force shield slightly distracts from the visage of Reed unconscious and the destroyed thingmy-bobber.

JB said that he was going for her field actually being invisible and that only it's effects can be seen in the notes...maybe put some smoke into the scene and have it billow around and move away from her sheild? Also maybe enlargen the Reed and the gizmo in your first scene.

Just my thoughts, nothing more.

That's a great nose dude...really impressed by the way you did her nose...seems like a small thing to be impressed by but none-the-less...

Down point, is (her) left eye higher than her right?

;-)

(Everyone shouts at me now..."It's a sketch!" stop analising it Darren...sorry-LOL)

Gotta love the button nose though.

it would be cool if Darren done the cover,if JB doesn't want to that is.(can but dream)

Personally I think JB -should- do it but then I think JB should draw -everything- !!!

However if John isn't in the running I'd be open to doing a cover (JB could do one his thumbnail designs for it if he'd like and I'd work from that...hint, hint).

Good advice Darren, thanks. I'm gonna try changing the angle so we get a closer look at Reed and the machinery. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the compliment on the nose.

As for Sue's eyes.  Well I know it's a sketch, but a good comment to say the least.  When I draw the pages out, I'll make sure to keep my...ummm...eye out for it.

I'll second Darren for the cover. I know he'll hit it out
of the park!

However, I think it would be fun to see some
"alternate" covers. So for anyone who would like a
crack at it don't be shy... jump on board! Everyone
knows the more variant covers you have the greater
the sales ; )

Maybe we could have a front cover, an inside cover, a back cover and an inside back cover.  That's four covers!  And no ads!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Steve. Still I'd like to wait until the "organisers" make decisions and maybe cajoul Mr Byrne;-)

It'd (the cover that is) have to wait 'till I had done my pages.
