I met Jim "The Dragon" Kelly today. Mostly known for the films Black Belt Jones, Enter The Dragon and Three The Hard Way.

Classic line from Black Belt Jones.

His comic book debut! He told me he didn't know anything about this comic until about ten years after it was released. He has no idea how they were able to use his likeness.

Went to NYC for spring break, got to see Jon's new office at Marvel and JBF member and good friend Ed Aycock a couple of times. It was GREAT to get to visit with Ed and Jon. The trip was pretty hard on Chuck and I cut it short because I felt he would be able to rest more at home.

But when I went to Marvel,  I got to meet Mark Paniccia, Jon works for him on the Ultimates line and he was a super nice guy. Jon and Mark are both big Byrne fans and Jon had mentioned I am on the JBF. Mark relayed the story of visiting Byrne Manor and how gracious JB was.

I also got to see where Ed worked, which is right across the street from Ground Zero. BTW Ed was a wonderful tour guide of the financial district in lower Manhattan.

Looks cool, Jodi. I would like to stay in NYC sometime. Where do you stay? Hotel or your kids?

We mostly stay in a hotel, this trip though, we stayed with Jon, he now has a bigger apartment so we bunked with him.

When we stay in a hotel I get a pretty good deal through cheap tickets for the Affinia Shelburne on Lexington Ave. It is a really nice place and right down the street from Grand Central Station, which means we can get pretty much anywhere with ease. We have stayed in a couple other places, but the locations were terrible. We have stayed at the Shelburne 3 times and each time it was great. It is also fairly close to the Empire State building which I like because the last time our window had a great view of it.

I would recommend a 4 day visit in off days for a cheaper rate. I went with a girlfriend and did that, it was great, we saw pretty much everything, but didn't have to pay a ton for food and lodging. You feel a bit rushed, but not overwhelmed. The money saved, outweighed the rush feeling.

Wallace, I just now saw your question of me. We can post pictures--we just can't put names with the pictures.
