I am part of the Bandierai degli Uffizi, a traditional flag waving group in Florence. We wear 15th century costumes and perform regularly in the city and around the world.
This is me flag waving in Piazza Signoria.

Looking great! I love those costumes, Martinho. However, Martinho doesn't always have his superhero face on. Here he is from four years ago when we met him in Florence. He took us to this lovely local pizza place that had some real good pie.

Yes. When we make homemade thin crust pizza, we make that pepperoni-onion-Gorgonzola combo you introduced us to. Good stuff!

Oh... the picture thread.  I don't know if I ever posted one... but here we go.  This was taken last year in NYC.  I'm the one that isn't the Blue Man (from the Blue Man Group).

Phil how did you get to meet one of the Blue Men? That is really cool, I have always wanted to see them, are they as good as their hype?

Jodi -  That photo was taken after one of their shows in NYC.  One of the Blue Men would pose with you if you did a donation to the Actor's Fund (it's for NYC Broadway actors who have health needs and need additional funding - it's an ongoing and good cause).  They never broke character, even when they mingled with the crowd in the lobby after their show.

And yes, their show is as good as their hype.  It is wild! They've been in their theatre venue (an Off-Broadway show) for 18 years!  Well worth seeing when you're back in NYC.  You can even get discounted tickets to a lot of their shows by visiting the TKTS booth (we go to the South Street Seaport location for our Broadway tickets when we're in NYC - usually 40% off depending on what day you go).
