And I like the wagon.  It's very "Bill Finger"-like!

I see you've got your hands full there, Steve.  Congratulations to the Newlyweds!

Dan, how do you ever find time to post with all those kids?

Now you all know why I had to "give up" comics 17 years ago.

Our family life was more of a cross between "Yours, Mine and Ours" and "Money Pit" rather than "Cheaper by the Dozen".

Sadly, the house is emptying quickly:

  • Adopted Daughter moved out several years ago to start her own family (although she *did* only move 1/2 block away).
  • Eldest Step-Daughter graduates from college in two weeks and plans to move to California to start teaching shortly after graduation.
  • Eldest Step-Son joined the Navy a year and half ago and is currenlty living in Florida (heading to Hawaii in June).
  • Eldest Son recently moved to Minneapolis to attend college.
  • Middle Step-Daughter graduates from high school next year and has every intention of "going away for college".
  • Foreign Exchange Student has since moved on to Philadelphia for college - although she "comes home" for holidays.

In six short years (barring anyone moving back home), the wife and I will be empty-nesters.

My drawing room is in –our- conservatory! The board is right against the west-facing window so I see the sunset every evening;-)

Here is the view as if five minutes ago [20:53 GMT]

[Scotland]

Hope everyone is well.

Darren.
