But I'm having a hard time finding instances of such poor reproduction.  I'm assuming I just don't have as trained of an eye as others here but to me, the book looks fine.

Not saying this to be contradictory, I just wanted to give some possible hope to those who may still want to check the book out.  I don't have the Kirby stuff to compare quality and I don't remember the original comics the JLGL stuff was presented in originally so maybe that's part of it.

But I wouldn't rate this book as "bad", especially compared to some of the stuff that I have actually seen that does fit that category.
