I Always love seeing the characters drawn with respect to each and every one of them because it hasn't happened in decades at Marvel.

Daniel used the word that I was searching for - choreography! I love
how this single image tells the story.

Eisner and Kubert have both called you a master storyteller - I think
they might be on to something!

Thanks for making me smile, JB (no, this isn't mine) - I've been having
one of those once-in-a-lifetime miserable weeks.

Wow....great match ups between the characters.

••

Since the customer did not suggest pairings, the first consideration was who vs who. My initial thought was Thor vs Phoenix, but as pointed out upthread, that kinda feels more like the last act of this little playlet. Iron Man vs Colossus seemed obvious, and the team leaders, Cap and Cyclops, against each other struck me as a natural.

The only confrontation that did not instantly suggest itself, in fact, was the Scarlet Witch vs Nightcrawler. They sort of ended up paired off because they were the ones left over when I'd decided on everybody else!

I still can't get that books featuring 'these guys' couldn't appeal to today's 'sophisticated' audience!

Great work as usual!
