I'm not sure which way to take Megan's last words on the bottom of page 19.

I with you, Wallace. I took it as a bad sign for the group.

I liked the scenes with Marilyn and Eddie out on the planet and the huge fish moment.

Really enjoying the ride here. Loved the low-gravity physics, especially.

I also forgot to compliment this from last issue. I like the borders on each page.

So this is interesting: I go to my LCS to snag The High Way #1
and #2.  After much perusing of the shelves and not finding #1,
I ask the cashier if he can help me locate the issues in question.

He finds #2 for me, but comments that The High Ways #1 is sold
out because "it suddenly became very popular".  He couldn't ex-
plain his comment--but I was glad to hear it nonetheless!

Thought I'd share the good vibrations with the board.  :)

Just picked up and read both issues.  So far, this series is a real breath of fresh air for me.  I like the mix of plausible, near future sci-fi with some (possibly) more extra-normal elements mixed in for seasoning (the "fish", the "naked man").   The art is top notch, of course, and really immersive.  The stand-out for me, however, is how attached I've already gotten to these brand new characters.  This is a real hallmark of Mr. Byrne's writing, I find: strong, solid characterization that is worked into the action of the story seamlessly.

Anyway: I liked 'em!  :)

That's one of the absolute coolest spaceships ever to be seen in comic books.

This issue was pretty darn good.

Anyone else think that this series would make a good live action TV mini series on the Science Channel? This series is trying to be as realistic as possible and is based on hard scientific knowledge and theories, which would be a perfect show for the Science Channel.

This series looks great. I wish my local comics shop actually got any of JB's IDW stuff. I will be buying the trade when it comes out.
