Will we see people rafting past the ruins of the Statue of Liberty yet again?

Since Rich Johnston is involved, I suppose we can take any errors in "reporting" as deliberate pot stirring. Got to feed the trolls, you know.

For the record, as noted, there are some elements to DOOMSDAY.1 that I hope will bring a smile to long time Byrne fans -- but as you'll see they are there mostly to underscore the fact that this is a DIFFERENT book.

Yeah, it brought a smile to my face!

Edit: Ooops.  In my excitement I leapt before I looked.

I love anything in the post-apocalyptic genre - and now with the added bonus of Byrne stories and art! Definite BUY.

There's only one thing I dislike about it:  It's only a 4-issue series.

This news is very exciting. And I like the idea of a 4 issue series....lean and mean.

Excellent, more JB sci-fi. Very pleased with this.

I think we need a checklist of forthcoming JB works as I'm losing track.

THE HIGH WAYS (current mini)
DOOMSDAY.1 (from May)
TRIO (2nd mini - soon?)
FINDERS OF LOST CHILDREN (Next Men:Aftermath sequel?)
COLD WAR (2nd mini)

Am I missing anything?

"There's only one thing I dislike about it: It's only a 4-issue series. "

But it does leave room for the All-New, All-Different Doomsday.2! I love post-apocalyptic books. This is the first mini from IDW that has grabbed me with knowing so little.

JB: I have a title question though. Now, I haven't paid attention to fonts in the past. Its only because of this site that I "get" how the use of a serif "I" can be jarring to some people. I was wondering about your usage of different fonts in this title and going from a sans serif to a serif with the "1" and what led to that decision.
