Yeah, I think this sits on the head of Rich Johnston of Bleeding Cool and what I like to call extrapolative journalism and not with IDW at all.
That being said, I am really anticipating seeing this series....Byrne rubble o'plenty!

Well, I now have no preconceived notion as to what this series will be about. I'm looking forward to it though. Being a post-apocalyptic book, I expect it to have great rubble.
I'm not suprised by the Bleeding Cool article. It's not the first time they've gotten caught not checking sources. Still, related or not, if IDW wanted to piggyback a release of DOOMSDAY+1 in a collected trade, I wouldn't be upset.

Sounds exciting and the cover looks fantastic. Love the colors. Will be adding this to my pull list.

Nice! JB sci-fi is where it's at! This sounds like a cool book. Regardless of the characters, the title and cover sets the sci-fi tone. Very exciting!! Count me in!

JB, on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is "hard" science fiction, and 10 is science-fantasy, where would Doomsday .1 land?

More sci-fi count me in. This is going to be one hell of a good year for BYRNE stuff. That cover is awesome!

Having never read Doomsday+1, it doesn't matter one bit to me if this has anything to do with that or not. I'm just happy to see another JB project announced!
