I like the main character's last name.

••

Thought you might! This is the same Eddie Wallace who appeared in the closing chapters of NEXT MEN -- and this is the first real glimpse of the "new future" of the NEXT MEN timeline.

Looks like I've got a reason to go back to the comic store this month. Thanks JB!

I don't know how much of a signifier this is for broader market appeal, but this got a positive mention over at the Comics Journal site today.

As for me, this is the first comic in quite some time that I'm really interested in reading - to the point of actually going and buying it!

So - since I'm obviously the center of the universe and my own opinion can be used to predict universal outcomes - I'd say you're on to something, here.

I know it is coming tomorrow. And I want to try something new... Not looking at any preview for the first episode... I want to be totally surprised from page 01.

With JB quality of work, I can confidently go with my eyes closed. I know I will not be disappointed !

Looking forward to this !

Again, I have to compliment Leonard O'Grady for this, and the coloring in general on the issue. I'd asked if Jonesy could have a "chameleon suit" that would just change color from panel to panel, and he went the extra light year and gave us this "lava lamp" effect. I don't know how much extra effort this is costing him, but it's certainly worth it!

The amount of detail in those panels is amazing!

I couldn't agree more with all of these positive comments. That teaser really grabs you and makes you want to read more. I was looking forward to seeing this book, and now even more so.

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------

I've just seen some of the cover previews. the suits on the cover of one of the issues reminded me of Next Men suits. This explains why.

Depends on which suits you mean.
