Jodi -

Whenever I go to these conventions (like every few years) I take a little sketchbook for autographs, roughly 3 inches square. I often ask for a sketch too from the artists, and almost always get one. Some artists do a little sketch without me asking, or ask "Do you mind if I sketch something here?"

The only time I got turned down was by Howard Chaykin, when I asked for "a doodle."

"No. This isn't a hobby for me!"

He still signed the book, and we chatted for about 15 minutes nonetheless.

No. I'm really going to try and do shows I want to do. Boston wasn't on
my schedule. Even if I went I'd just go see the Red Sox!

I shall be in Boston, Steven! Looking forward to meeting the great Bill Roberge in person. Just Sunday, Bill? How long are you in town?

We'll have a booth in Boston, feel free to drop by, Bill!
I'll have to try and make the time to get pics with everyone this time!
It was supercool to meet Paul and Jim in Philly.

Missed a comma!

Thanks Andrew, I think I will just take a small book and ask for autographs, the whole maybe offending thing, makes me too nervous.
