That's the real Paul Greer but obviously a cardboard cutout of Jason Hickok.

I don't think so Joe, in the second photo Jason looks like he's thinking about smiling.

The Philly Con was a blast. Too busy in some regards. Never got to the steps or to Pat's. Never saw beer week or Marc Foxx (I apologize for that). Four days seems like a long time but it isn't.

Philly was a lot of fun! It was great to put some faces and handshakes to some fellow JBF members! (We really need a secret handshake! Ok, not really) Was in and out though, so there wasn't much time to do much else except work, sleep and eat. Going to Boston in Aug, that's going to be a fun Con too. Great lineup of actual comic creators.

Sorry I missed you guys, as well - maybe next year I'll have my time better budgeted and will be able to actually get to the con.
Glad that you enjoyed your time in Philly - hope you got to see more than the convention center, though.

I did get to take a little walkaround down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Wonderful architecture downtown!

It was nice to meet you at the con, Steven. Looks like you had a good time doing various interviews. Your partner was quite fetching.Sorry we never had the chance to meet up, Marc. Unless I have Wi-Fi my email doesn't send. Wish we could have had a chance to experience Beer Fest with you. I've been out of commission since coming back. Was hit with a fever and have been resting since I arrived home late Sunday. The Philly show was a blast. Was able to score a few Salvador Larocca sketches and a couple celebrity autographs. However the highlight of the week was taking a pit stop up to visit with JB. As always he is a gracious host opening his home up to Jason and I. Had a great time chatting, taking the tour of his home and searching through his flat files of art. As mentioned in the charity thread the Xeroxes are also impressive to see and will be a great reward for the most generous donor. It was also nice seeing Ted again at the con. Going to try and take it easy until August where I am doing Boston and Chicago back to back. This stuff gets more and more tough the older I get. I see why JB retired from cons. This feels like work at times.

Last week I attended the Niagara Falls ComicCon, and was well pleased. This was my first time attending, but I believe this was it's third year (? I'm likely wrong about that, but I know it's 'young').
Great turn-out and the show had a great 'feel' to it. It reminded me of how FanExpo used to be when it started out.
My main goal was to get George Perez to sign my Teen Titans poster. I've owned it and loved it for thirty years(!) and now it's autographed!!!
(I bumped my FF poster by JB out of the fancy frame for now. Rotation to keep the view fresh)
