Detroit Fanfare just posted a picture of all their great free parking for their convention in the fall. Rather clever, I'd say!

Thought I'd share this since I just added Margot Kidder at the Motor City Con last weekend:

I think I've done pretty well collecting signatures on this considering I started in 2007!  I believe Roger Stern and Noel Neill were the first two!

Oh yeah, Margot Kidder was really excited to sign it and flipped through the comic "ooh-ing" and "Ah-ing" at the art.  She said she thinks she has only ever signed one other copy of this comic.

Very clever! I'm planning on going as long as Stan Lee and Norman Reedus aren't attending. This one will be small beans in scale.

Congrats on post 9000 Jason,I hit 100 the other day and was pretty proud.

Recently read that more than 18,000 people came to Motor City Con on Saturday. That's higher than the previous year's attendance for the whole 3-day weekend! That's a Chicago Comicon crowd without the multiple building entrances and multiple parking lots!

Heroes Con doubled their floor space this year, they don't have media guests but that show is always congested.

I'll be milling about Philadelphia con, but I'm there for work related purposes so not so much for the fun. I'll try to have something JBF related on my person for identification purposes.

Marc or Steven. If you email me I can tell how easily you kind find me at the con. Always enjoy meeting fellow JBF members. Jason won't be far behind from where I'm stationed.

Paul and Jason, I will be in Philly Saturday and Sunday.
Bought a four-day pass, but can only go then. Saturday
night I have a sports banquet, but then I'm free. If you
are going to AC, you should stop by my house, and we should
all go.

I bought 5 new pages at the con, including 3 more from
Defenders #80 and 2 from Barry Kitson. I also scored a
couple sketches from Barry, which can be found in the new
art thread.

I also had a chance to see Matt and Jim Warden, as well as
Paul and Jason. Hope they don't mind me sharing these. I
took them in the hotel before dinner...
