The only negatives to the show was the parking and the generally bad service we received with the establishments around the convention center. I'm hoping they can step up their game in those areas for future shows.

Jason, Looking at some of the posts on mccc's Facebook page,I would not be surprised to see half of those who attended today(or tried to),skipping next year. This event was oversold and not well planned. I have tickets for all 3 days but may skip on tommorrow.

At Horror Hound in Cincinnati in March, Reedus's line was 6-8 hours long at times. He stayed well into the night each night after the con was closed, trying to get through his line (and make people who waited happy they did so.)

Quite a few nice comments about Reedus today. He seemed to really enjoy meeting his fans from what I saw. My son wanted to get a photo op with Lou Ferrigno, but after the cold reception we received from him on Friday we decided to pass. The only time we saw him smile was when a photo was taken. Bad Hulk!

Well, people who were at Motor City today will have stories to tell (good and bad) for a long time! They predicted a record crowd, and they sure got it! I don't know about logistics and planning or what they'll do next year, but the people I talked to said they were having a good time, though some didn't go to certain areas of the con due to the mass of people.
My highlight was chatting with George Perez before the show and showing him the Cyborg figure I made.

George was a class act. On Friday,he was the only guest to come out and work the very meager crowd that was waiting to get in. He chatted and posed for a picture with my son and I. That was the way to kick off the con in my opinion. Great guy!

Stan Lee's at Big Wow! ComicFest in San Jose tomorrow, which explains the one-day appearance at Motor City. Stan's got fifty-plus years on me, and just thinking about his travel schedule wipes me out.
Went to Big Wow! today and had a fun time, especially since I didn't have to run a booth or even moderate any panels, which is a real rarity for me. I caught up with Mick Gray, Ron Lim, Brent Anderson and Mario Hernandez, met Bill Sienkiewicz, Humberto Ramos, and Geoff Darrow, got some books signed by Herb Trimpe and Kevin Nowlan, and hauled my Groo Artist's Edition to San Jose and got Sergio to sign it and do a quick sketch (after which he showed me a photo of his dog, who was the inspiration for Rufferto).

Just got back from day 3 at Motor City! To be honest,I'm glad it's over. Way better organization today and smaller crowd. 3 days is too much for this old guy!

Spent Saturday with Pam at Motor City. It was a clusterf--- to park and get in. Even with my prepaid tickets, I was about to turn around and leave rather than wait in the mile long line wrapping around the building. Thankfully, I called Dave Aikins who bailed us out!
Once inside, we went straight up to Colin Baker and Cary Elwes, both of whom were very friendly and accessible.
Picked up the Byrne FF Omnibus and a very nice copy of FF #4. Spent a good amount of time resting my old bones at Dave's table, sitting in front of that painting of Zombie Joe Hollon.
Great to spend some time with Dave, Andy, Perry, and Erica!
