Sounds like Friday is going to be the best day. I am thinking I will get there on Friday early, go back home Sunday.

Marc, Beer week sounds crazy. I want to go to the place where we can drink beer and watch Bugs Bunny cartoons!

The family and I were at c2e2 on Saturday. It was definitely the most crowded one yet. We stayed at the hotel attached to the convention center, and from our window we could see all the cosplayer posing for pictures on the front steps.

This is the second year in a row that someone at the con asked me if I was Woody Harrelson. I guess I should dress up like his Zombieland character next year.

We might be going to Motor City Con, but haven't decided yet for sure.

Tickets bought, going for the VIP CM Punk meet and greet.

Anyone have hotel suggestions?

The Hyatt is the host hotel, Jodi. We are staying at the Crowne Plaza where the horror con is being held. The Hyatt also is hosting Beatles Fest the same weekend. Nothing good can come from that.

Jodi, Embassy Suites and the Hyatt are both connected to the convention center via an overhead walkway.  So no need to ever walk outside, especially if the weather is not good.  I know there's a third (which used to be Sofitel), but I don't know the name.  Doubletree and Crowne Plaza are both within very easy walking distance.

So it just comes down to your budget then.

IMO, you may want to go with Embassy Suites because you get the free breakfast.  There's not a lot within walking distance in terms of restaurants, especially for breakfast.  Though I am sure all the other hoitels have restaurants, I know the meals there are pricey!

Just my 2¢.  :-)

Because of my work schedule its difficult  to attend conventions out of state but it looks like my city is trying to start up one this year.

It will be interesting to see what talent they line up.  So far the biggest draw appears to be the cast of The Walking Dead
