For those who care, the panel and event scheduling is up at C2E2's website.

Sent another email from a different account.  Let's see if that works.

Anyone going to the Wizard St. Louis Con? There is a book available
for attendees that I'd love to get a copy of.

The last convention I went to was San Diego Comic Con in 2008.  I went to see a Star Wars panel with a friend, and I didn't know what to expect as I had never been to the big San Diego con.  In fact, the last con I had to been to before that was JB's last con in Ohio.  I ended up having a wonderful time hunting comic books and attending panels in San Diego.  It was the panels that were the best surprise.

I will go to my first convention since then when I go to Wondercon in Anaheim, CA at the end of this month.  I'm going with friends who know very little about comic books - they love TV/movies/sci-fi, but it was their idea and I couldn't say no.  I will probably be acting like a sort of translator for some of what we see!!  One of my friends has a beach house nearby, so we'll spend the nights outside the city but close by.

I see Mark Evanier will be attending, and one of my strongest memories from years ago was what a fantastic job he did interviewing artists on panels.  He was as good as a skilled talk show host and knew how to make for informative and entertaining panels.  Beside that, I want to hunt comics and enjoy the city during a long weekend.  I never stay in Orange County overnight as it seems silly to get a hotel when I live just north in Los Angeles, so it will be good to experience the city and beaches for a few days.

********

Since Barry Kitson is there lunch might involve take out and sitting on the floor in front of his table.  At least that's how these things seem to work...I'm a newbie. We'll have a good view of Paul feeding Barry his grapes though.
