Monster Mania in the fall is on my radar of guest lists to watch, to be sure!  I've never been to one of their shows, though.

Wow Greg Capullo has already been announced for DICE 2013. Definitely going now.

Okay. Gail Simone is coming to Dublin for Octocon. That will make 3 cons this year (2 in Dublin).

WonderCon 2013 badges and hotel reservations opened up last Tuesday:

And Amanda Connor is now listed as a guest...  Okay, that's definitely an incentive for me...  ;)

I agree the NYCC is a madhouse.  Having said that, since I mainly go for the sketches, I do like that the organizers put Artists Alley in a different part of the building.

I agree that New York can be tough, but they also have great guests. In one year I met Joe Kubert and Joe Simon-hard to beat that!

I did Boston last year and it was pretty good. For a smaller con they had some really good guests such as Simon Bisley and Berni Wrightson. I think I'll be back this year.

Just a quick update for my fellow Perez fans. He has posted that he will be attending the April Mike Carbo's Comic Book Marketplace show at the Hotel Pennsylvania across from MSG. The show has been moved to the weekend before Boston. This show used to be the Big Apple shows before Wizard bought it. This one day show has always been a good show.

If anyone was trying to get into the Emerald City Comi-con website over the past few days, and got redirected to the Facebook page instead...

Apparently the ECCC site got hacked...  And wiped completely.

There is a Comic Art Con held twice a year in New Jersey. Here's the link to the web site:

http://www.comicartshowcase.com/index.php/comic-art-con.

I've never been to this show, so I don't know how it is. It looks like the next show in March 24, 2013, from about 10 AM to 4 PM at the Empire Meadowlands Hotel (2 Harmon Plaza, Secaucus, N.J. 07094).

3 Day passes for the Emerald City Comic Con have sold out. Looks like Saturday only tickets will be sold out before the show. Hope everyone has already purchased their tickets.

Yes, but the local area comic shops still have a supply of them.

The ECCC exhibit hall floor plan has double in size from last year...  Even the Skybridge is part of it now.

I suspect that Saturday is going to be a big, crowded mess like last year (which means I might be taking a walk to Pike Place Market and the Hard Rock Cafe by lunchtime).  I wonder if Bagpipe Vader on a Unicycle is going to make an appearance again...
