I love these ARTIST EDITIONS, they're the next best thing to owning the original art....Well done IDW!

I'm just bowled over that this is happening.  I will buy this new, and it will be my first Artist's Edition.  The closest I have come to buying one is for Sergio Aragones, but it's too pricey for GROO, which is not my favorite of his work - I prefer the MAD material.  I'm hoping to find one used at some point.

Seeing original art up close is always a thrill, and to see JB's work from this period is not to be missed.

Just started to look for the Gil Kane Artist Edition. Seems to be sold out ? Not sure if this is because the pre order is done . If anybody see one please give me a shout.

I definitely will be saving my pennies for this one.

BTW, the Dave Stevens ROCKETEER is getting a second printing.
Let's hope some of the others get one as well.

.... Or you could buy it directly from IDW at their store and directly
support the company with an additional order, further ensuring that
more of these books will be published. There have been a few volumes
I missed and would love to have, but I can't put myself in the mindset of
supporting the idea of someone buying the book at wholesale price and
than flipping it for $45 more than it goes for retail.

The link here leads to the page and indicates that it is still in stock.

I'm hoping issue 260 is in this. It's my favorite issue of any comicbook
EVER!

I'm excited by the prospect that one of the issues may be the 241! It was posted in it's entirety on CAF by Will Gabri-El a month or so back, and it looks soooooooooo good on CAF!!!! This is going to be sweet!!
