I agree - I like the colors on the sneaked page.  I usually prefer JB's art in B&W, but the IDW work has had strong colorists since JB started working with them.

I keep clicking on the first page to look at the spaceship designs.  Really cool designs, JB.  I'm digging this already!

Like JB mentioned, pure Sci-Fi can be a hard sell in comics. But,
because it is, there isn't as much of it as I'd like. So, thank you JB and
Chris Ryall. I'm really looking forward to this!

So far IDW has been a very positive experience. I honestly cannot imagine Marvel or DC taking any of the risks IDW does. In the Big Houses, their idea of "innovation" seems lately to be "Let's do what we did 20 years ago!"
