You would think that she and the other Inhumans would change their outfits everyday and not always wear the same thing NO WAY! Black Bolt's costume is one of the all-time greats!

The first appearance of that Medusa costume is one of my favourite Spider-Man covers.

"Poor Medusa! She's not had a really decent costume in all her history at Marvel!" I dunno, JB. I really liked her purple one with her arms and legs bare that you drew her in back in your FF days (and in her Marvel Universe entry). It was simple, but it seemed to work for her. Now, some other ones I've seen her in......

Is Medusa the only non-mutant character who was allowed to wear the X?

Is Medusa the only non-mutant character who was allowed to wear the X?•• It's not really an "X" in her case. Just a design element that happens to LOOK like an X.

I was in the office, and Mark Gruenwald asked me to do a drawing of Medusa for OHOTMU. "Which outfit?" I asked. We agreed none were particularly stellar, so he said "Make one up!" Which I did. Basically, I drew her "naked" and then added some costume lines, without a whole lot of thought. I did not think for one moment that that version would become "permanent", even to to point of being the one she's wearing in the Bowen statuette!!

THE SUPERHERO WOMEN - my favorite story in this book didnt even make the cover: THE FEMIZONS by Romita -- a planet where men are ruled by warrior women...ah, to dream. Hey JB, speaking of the Femizons, did you ever have any plans to pit my favorite Femizon: THUNRA against SHE-HULK? Now that would be a cat-fight royal!

Well, JB, for whatever its worth, I think you made up a nice, simple costume for Medusa. Even after all these years, its still what pops into my head when someone mentions her!

But "catfight" seems a bit of a paltry description of the kind of pound down I think we could expect from these ladies!

She-hulk has heart, but based on Thundra's warrior heart and training, I'd go with her. She hasn't been well used since her early days.
