Darren once again love your Iron Fist He's one of those characters that i just love the design of his look which you nail dead on.. I also concur with you about coming up with a name that links to our J.B. connection

Thanks Anthony and "YEAH!" Iron Fists costume is pretty damn cool!

Relating any -would-be- Studio, where it's origins can be traced to the Byrne-board, would seem common sense. Add to that the fact that we all, to a man are influenced by JB I think it becomes a nessesity

Here's another thought guys, the whole emerging Studio chat should probably be in a thread of it's own in the Fan Fiction section of the board. Not just simply because it's kinda off topic for this thread but seems a little more appropriate there.

Steve: I've been out of comics for ten years, nowadays teaching art at a local university.

Darren: Cool Iron Fist! Looks very Neal Adams-like.

Here's my rendition of the Penguin. Looking at it now, I think I could have done the umbrella better; it's hard to tell what it is. I should have either had it opened, or not as drastically foreshortened....
This one I did my own background, except Mark helped out on the shading lines on the steps

Are you off for the summer? :) Perfect time to do a five-page Image pitch with me.

Nope, Full Sail is a year-round school. I get a couple of days around July 4th but my wife usually has enough tasks lined up for me to keep me from getting bored.
Appreciate the offer, but between work and taking night classes in various digital media (one advantage to working at a school, you get to take classes for free), I don't have much time to draw nowadays.

A shame. The comics industry has lost too many fine talents like you to better-paying, more stable careers.

Rick, I really prefer your own inks, sharp work.

A couple of fresh ones...

For Darren Taylor: the idea was good, but the execution sucks IMO...just working out a new pose...
