Chris Y, great Susan Storm. I like the inclusion of other elements into the pieces now. Adds more weight to the stand alone figures.

Mac, brilliant inking! [Nib?] Very Mark farmer and Alan Davis.

Morgan another great illo. Spider Woman, if Tom [Burgos] is around he'll give you a big sloppy kiss;-)

Greg, more excellent pieces.

Mac great layout work, compositionally.

Sean, nice work on the inks and colours.

Michael fantastic sequentials.

Fantastic work everyone, it's always a pleasure to stop in and see all the new
work.

John, great nightwing. Love both the face and the action pose!

Matthew, love the Batman....parts of the inks remind me of Klaus [Jansen]

Roger, nice piece, like the way the hair came out in ink!

James, love the 2112 illo.

Vlad, love the boots on your Lady Jaye...nice an shiny so she shouldn't get a "beasting" from her CO;-)

Mac, stunning layouts. Love the backgrounds and the composition.

Matthew, phone sketch or not I love it. Conveys a great deal of mood.

Flavio, love the lips...this style reminds me of someone but for the life of me I can't remember. Very nice though, very nice!

Greg, great work, you've yet to post something I'm not keen on. Brilliant!

Marc, touch of Steve [Lightle] in that Batman. Fantastic work. If I could ink half as well as Steve can i'd be quite pleased. Anyon need to learn anything about "contrast" go and look at some of his B&W's. Great artist.

Nathaniel. Nice image but WOW, really nice inking.

John, I really liked the page. There's a touch of JB in the inking too!

Bob...N.I.C.E! Great image.

Michael, the inking looks clean and nice! In fact it looks so clean that I'd swear it was digital. Great stuff.

Oliver, now that's a real gem! Reminds me a little of Phil Noto's work.

Marc, great X-Men pin-up.

Jose, I'm stunned that's a drop dead gorgeous, lush and deep illustration. if you don't post more, it'll be a crime!

Justin, another person whose art I could sit and look at all day long.

Morgan, "Hahaha" Great stuff dude.

Norman, great details and texturing. really like seeing your stuff.

Anthony, here-here!

Mark i think you've done a great job, parts of which remind me of Tery Beatty (whom I like a lot)

Stephen, great sequentials.

John, cool!

Okay so now that I'm all caught up..."Wow" how great is it to see lots of "New blood!"?!?

That's just great! i hope y'all stick around.

On the Calander News front, I'm afraid it's bad news. I can't retrieve the files from my old PC. "Thanks" to everyone who managed to salvage their own files and send them to me [some having to fight with my stubborn email account!]

But four illos a calander does not make. As such I'm afraid I'll have to just wave the white flag and say I can do no more:-(

Feel free to post you images to either someone else or to the board as you all see fit and I'm sorry for the sucky bad timing with my computer-grrrr

If it's any consolation [and I know it wont be] I lost a good portion of my large scans of my own artwork from the last four months commission work:-(

Anyways onwards and upwards.

No problem Chris, keep advancing as quickly and as competently as you are and I'll be able to retire;-)

That is too bad. Darren, I hope you kept hard copies of your own work. It would be a shame to lose it. Here was my August calendar entry.

Darren -

sorry to hear about the computer giveing up the ghost.
Doubly sad that it turns out you couldn't join us in the Land of Milk and
Chocolate, otherwise known as MACLand.
