Boy the competition on this thread alone is pretty intimidating...

Awhile back I won a raffle at the Comic Museum. The prize was a chance
to go up to M****L and show JQ your work.

He was nice but he spent most of the hour showing me HIS work. Very
corporate atmosphere up there now, not the place I remember as an
intern. Still I'm glad to have won the chance to see what it's all about.

JQ was very honest in spelling out the harsh reality that is the comic biz.

Not writing this to discourage any of you. Do comics cuz you love em.
Experiment, break the rules, have fun. Don't stifle your creativity by trying
to impress DC or M****L. They don't know what the hell they want
anyway. They're just parasites waiting for the next big thing to come
along so they can cash in on it.

John - JB doesn't want anyone to hotlink anymore, so he's asked for us to just directly upload our work using the small tree with an arrow icon in the post reply area.

Here is one of my "infamous" phone drawings (done while on the phone at work).  I do three to four of these bad boys a day...and usually as soon as they are done, they are TOSSED in the recycle bin...but this one didn't suck TOO much...
