Question to those who use white-out on their inks (I know MAC uses a lot for different effects).

What brand do you use?

Mr. Darren - I know you've been having 'puter problems.  Just wondering if you got my e-mail with the inks in it?

Q for Vlad - what size "paper" do you use for your illustrations?  Do you use 11 x 17 or something other that that?  I know you use 600 dpi for your res.

As I was drawing this, it evoked memories for me of the books I read as a kid. Thus, I added the appropriate dialogue.

I had the house to myself yesterday while my wife & daughter were at Best Buy, so I sat down and attempted a 'Generations style' Batman. After a half hour this was the result. I think I'll sign up for art class tomorrow so I can learn the proper techniques to drawing, but considering I've had no formal training and just started drawing again for the first time in 27 years I don't think it turned out as bad as it could have.

MIchael- Good Start! And good for you for taking a class! Even though you
probably can't tell from most of my posts here, I think life drawing is the
best class that you could take for drawing comics (or practically anything!)
Learning what things really look like can help you so much when you
imagine a drawing later. I especialy learned a lot from a figure drawing class
that did a lot with skeletal anatomy.

I would like to find a figure drawing group, but haven't found one in town.
