No problem Michael. Something I have recently had to learn is to draw
for fun. When it becomes frustrating and a burden...it becomes less
enjoyable and that just sucks! lol. It should be fun to draw, to
improve on, and to show others here. I have had a few days off and have
just had a blast sketching away!
I used to draw all the time when I was younger, then I stopped at 18
and started again when I was about 23...not a massive gap, but I've
been able to build on the level I left at, so I'm certain you can too!

Matthew- I appreciate the comments you leave for everyone. I need to try
and be better about commenting!
More new folks!
Welcome JF and MIchael (and welcome back Roger!)
MIchael, I don't think it's too late to make art and to get better and better.
Art classes are good because they provide structure. Sometimes it's hard to
be like you were as a kid and have endless inspiration. Having a class might
get you going on a regular basis. Do it!

Thanks I will. And just for the heck of it here's one of the last pictures I drew as a kid. As you can tell I've always been a big Fantastic Four fan.

Matthew T. Carpenter, Sr: I'd suggest that panels 3 and 5 are too similar. you might go for a more dramatic zoom on the guys eyes in panel 5 and let the eyes carry the urgency of the moment, leaving space for the words.
Good eye! I was just thinking something similar earlier today myself. Maybe the whole panel a close up of just one wide-open eye?
Matthew T. Carpenter, Sr: second page is very cool
Thanks! What I liked best about doing this page was that I never stopped to think about what I was going to do next. My pencil just flew across the page and this was the result. It comes back to what JB has often said about having a snapshot of the page in his head before he starts. It works.

I saw the image I posted at 5 am this morning and had to replace it with a better shot. I worked too damn hard to have it look like poo.
