Oh... I really like the Phoenix drawing! There;s something about Mr. B's hair,
though that is delightful!
Chris- I hop eyou stick around. You're a great participator and I've seen your
work imppove over the few months that I've been looking.
Nice work Anthony C. I am ignorant of the character, but it reminds me of a
cover from that comic Warp from the 80s. (I think I'm remembering that
right.)
Cheers!

thanks Rich, besides Perez being one of my major influences (and Byrne too), i've always liked his rendition of her especially with the curly hair to make her look more Greek than anglo, but nowadays most people that draw her give her the straight hair look.

Thanks MAC, and Daniel, I appreciate your comments.
I don't have any "other issues" to deal with though, this is simply
just about me not being happy with my work. There's nothing worse than
putting hours of effort into a drawing and then just feeling flat about
it I guess and yesterday I was in a weird mood with it, so I apologize
for all this, I'll keep pressing forward and keep learning from ya'll.
MAC, I never really thought about how hard it must be to constantly be
drawing, sometimes it must feel like you get sick of it too?
Anyway, l haven't been able to really get across what I was feeling
yesterday, but it's not like I'm having a break down with it lol, it's
just a battle sometimes.
Thanks for everyone's support, I'll keep pressing forward.

I really like that piece MAC, the eyes look really intense.
John, excellent Wonder woman.
Daniel, this is my favorite piece from you so far, there's something really cool about the linework in black.
Cesar, beautiful pencils.

Andrew wrote "I use Micron Pigma felt-tipped pens for my line work, and then
supplement (a lot!) in Photoshop once everything is scanned in. Tho, after
I did my December piece for the calendar, I realized I should put a bit
more time in with the pen."
Cool! I haven't used those pens before. Might have to look into them sometime. Thanks for answering, Andrew!

Have any of you folks heard about the Adesso brand tablets? They are
much cheaper than the Wacom Tablets. I suspect that you get what you
pay for, but thought I would ask. I'm itchin' for a larger tablet.
Here's a link:
