Chris, we all go through periods of funk, hopefully you will snap out of it.
It's hard to go into detail of every piece, but you ask for specific feedback.

Well, I am a fan of Chris's work - honestly! - and I must say the Sketchbook
thread has made me draw more often and try harder - even though I've
posted a lot of older stuff. In fact, the art I see here looks more interesting
to my eye - Darren and MAC (the Gods of Olympus), but also Vlad, Bill,
Justin and many others - than most of the stuff in the stands nowadays.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE TWELVE F***ING MONTHS!!!

Speaking of older stuff: I am visiting my hometown and I just raided my old
sketchbooks. If I have my way, soon you'll all see what an eleven year-old
Byrne-clone-wannabee could do with a box of markers.

Chris- It sounds to me that you have other issues to deal with.
If you need to sort things out you can always count on the guys
here for some support.
This is after all a "sketch" thread, You dont have to post
elaborate illustrations, no one will think less of you if you dont
post at all.
Some of us are "professional" artists, I work as a graphic
designer/illustrator. There are days when thats all i do and cant
stand to think about putting pen to paper.
Then there are times when i can produce my quota at work and
10-15 illustrations at home.
But thats how i make a living so my mind set is different.
Some of us did not start out being decent artist, we worked for it
and with time and practice and alot of dedication you will look
at your work and be satisfied with the end results.
I personally hate commenting on others work and can take or
leave any comments made about my work.
Of course i appreciate the kind words but the only person i truly
try to please is myself.
So, in closing.LOL
Know your limitations and try to expand them whenevr you can.
Heck, im still trying to learn how to draw women from Darren(
and i worked in the industry for 6 years). LOL
Just hang out here in our little corner of JB Forum and soak it
in.
Regards,
MAC
Heres another quick commision, inks tomorrow.

Cesar draws some crazy hair. I dig it. No way my brain could pull that off.
