I can't recall but I seem to remember, falsely or otherwise that Anthony said that he -had- pencilled his...!?

Anyway the artwork has been of a much higher quality than I had hoped for. Excellent work thus far from everyone involved. I enjoyed my oppertunity to ink Cesar (eventually, as we had been looking to combine on something for quite a while now)

The fifteenth will be the final day for submission. Once in I'll then put the whole thing together. [So many other things going on I felt doing it all in one sitting rather than piece-meal was the best route]

Andrew, thanks for the update it's always nice to hear how everyone is coming along.

-Darren.

Question for my fellow artists.  Any thoughts on the best way to draw/ink Cigar/Pipe/Cigarette smoke?  Or should I do it digitally?  Any thoughts will help.

I love the way Norm Breyfogle drew the smoke in this commission.

Justin you could add it with a airbrush after you scan the original, or select the inks around the smoke and drop in a grey outline.Hope this helps.

"Question for my fellow artists."-Justin

I believe this is now redundant but for future ref, I guess it would depend on the lighting in the panel/picture.

Sometime black smoke helps emote more mood and is always more synister. Although if this was intended to adorn the piece you did for the calander then white smoke is best. It's fine as the ammendment shows.

I do like the way that John does it. But the Alan Davis smoke is pretty cool too;-)

Nothing to do with the Cal. picture, but something else I'm doing.  I was trying to figure out a cool way to do the smokey haze that forms at the top of a dark room.  I have a few ideas now, so thanks.

Chris, I also wanted to say how much I liked your Daredevil.  I really enjoy the teeth.
