Well, I came across this today, and I believe it is the first piece I posted in this thread:

You are starting to impress a very distinct and clear visual style James.

Selecting a "team" that works well is trial and error but there is clearly -something- that agrees with -both- your best efforts!

It is certainly something that would be worth persuiting.

I'd also note, that individually you are both artists in your own rights trying to express your own "voices" but who both gain something from one another.

1. Here I am James!  I've been doing family stuff, and then our DSL modem fried the other day, so we're out 5 to 7 DAYS without internet at home!!!  Thanks for asking, though.

2. You can have Justin back any time you'd like.  He's a harsh task mistress...(there's a joke in there).  I hog Justin's pencils because i've been enjoying what he's been doing so much.  He (we) actually sent you an e-mail about the calendar Jam - don't know if you got it.

3. I totally agree with Darren (because he pays me...)  No, really.  Both James and Chris do very nice work by themselves, but when you two get together, magic occurs.  The pieces you've worked on together (with the most recent in my mind) are fabulous.  And the comic art process is usually very much a team operation.

hey all! Just back from break.

I'm scheduled to do Dec for our Calendar Team-Up, and I'm still set for it,
but I think I'm going to have to do some warm up exercises before I jump
into the full shot.
I'll post those as I finish them.

And Darren: I don't know if I got an answer to this, but are the date grids
going to be super-imposed over these images (or in some other way
included in the pin-up), or is the "calendar" aspect in name only?
Just want to plan for it.
