guys thank you again for the compliments. i managed to get some good stuff done this time some you'll recognize others you might not i'll start with something basic
and this:
now the next batch is following the same lines as some of my earlier post i redesigned some costumes for the Legionnaires. i play in a LSHRPG over at Yahoo. it's based off of the Superboy's Legion elseworlds book that came out a few years ago Starboy aka Starbolt
Ultraboy aka Rogue
Phantomgirl aka Banshee
Kent Shakespheare
(i used a jeffery moy pic of Kent as a reference of the close up head and now it looks too much like it.) enjoy

chris y...i've got the vhs tape of drawing the marvel way, at least i THINK
i've still got it...if you want it all you have to do is say the word and it's
yours, assuming of course i can find it.
although, i'm not sure about getting it to the u.k....lol
it might be cheaper for you to find it and buy it there instead of paying
the shipping from the us...lol.
i bought it simply to watch john buscema draw...he's soooo awesome.

Nice work John!
James- Thats very kind of you, but maybe I'll be able to find it
somewhere over here too, if not though, I'll give ya a shout. :)
LOSH - I've been following Waid and Kitson's run since #1 (the reboot)
and I have really enjoyed it. I love Kitson's pencils. In #16 it will
be called "Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes" so that should be
cool!

i really dig kitson's work...he was the sole reason i bought the azrael
series when it started and he's the reason i got into the gorilla comics
"empire" series.
and he's cool as hell to boot...i met him in charlotte a couple of years
ago, quite a nice chap.
i head to the charlotte con every year...i remember meeting ross & busiek
when marvels first came out...they were signing each others names...ross
was signing as busiek and busiek was signing as ross.
i walked up, looked at alex an then kurt and said "so ALEX are you and
KURT enjoying the con?"
alex almost died laughing as kurt exclaimed "we're busted dude!"
i then thanked them for bringing me the best x-men story i had read in
over 15 years...it was quite a moment.
alas, in the immortal words of peter david, "but i digress".

Chris Y - that's a good deal for 40 minutes. sort of like an
extended pose in a life drawing class. I read somewhere that you
were shying away from backgrounds, and if so, the best cure for that is
to just look outside your window or sit in the park or on a bench and
draw what you see. don't get too caught in the detail, but go for
the feel of the perspective and the general shapes. time yourself
and do about 4 15 minute quick sketches, then try some longer
ones. the book you're getting will help explain the concepts of
the perspective. keep up the good work!!!
Ben Schwartz - nice job. I'm sure your friends were pleased.
Ed Munoz - shoot! sorry to hear about
your eye. hope you feel better soon, understanding the
consequences that loom for you. as far as your drawing, it looks
as good as ever! nice one and I hope you'll be able to continue
to draw and post stuff.
Didier Yvon Paul Fayolle - that is just so
awesome on so many levels! i love it. and feel free to
comment on Darren's stuff any time you'd like to! i give you
permission... Actually, you're stuff is really not as bad as you
think it is as far as i'm concerned.
John C. Harrison - i love your style and love your characters. very well done.
Sean Hollenhors - very well laid out and
done. you might try varying your lineweight a bit (this is
something i'm working on in my own inking so it's in my mind - so
please don't take that as a cut!!!)

er... Matthew... how should I say it... hmmmmmm... let me see.... if you refer to the latest pic I have posted ( pencil in the eye ), well, unfortunatly for me and you, I am not the author !
And I can prove it ! -------> http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/index.html
very funny stuff !
As for me, I can show this:
This is a rough animation I made for the game I am working on. It is far away from perfect ( it looses volumes on the feet and there are some troubles with the arms, but at least, I made it ! ). Hey ! it is work in process !

Nice work Sean!
James K. - That sounds great man! I've spoken with Kitson over at the
Geoff Johns board recently and he does seem really cool! Problem with
living in the UK is I never get to go to conventions! lol His work on
LOSH has been great, you can see some pencil pages on his site, I'll
try and grab ya the link. - www.barrykitson.com
Matthew- Thanks for the advice! Legend.

Ed, I am sorry to hear of the health problems you've suffered of late.
I hope the worst is now behind you. I loved the Hulk and Spiderman
piece though!
