Dave - I like what you've posted and the concept behind it.  Looks good.  There are tons of indie Christian companies out there that might buy what you've got.  Just a thought.

Darren - thanks for the Yay!

Hey Dave, I particularly like the walking image on Page 3. The guy's expression looked very Byrne-like to me (which I'd imagine you'd consider a compliment, yes?)

A few pages ago Darren did a rather detailed recap of this thread. So earrlier i went back and went thur the first 40 or 50 pages. Besides the obviousness of seeing all that great art again. I was reminded of the written conversations we've had and how i've come to know some of you better. More specifically but not limited too Darren, Matthew, Vlad and Mac. It's been alot of fun meeting all of you.
James, Marc, Bill, Justin, Didier just to mention a few more of you guys I honestly could go on and on with you guys and adding more names of people here who's work i respect and have enjoyed seeing.

But upon reflection of this thread. I don't want to comment on the good things i thing that goes without saying anymore.

I want to talk about the a few things that disappoint me.

Damn it Darren stop drawing your women so damn hot. :) actually keep it up I love it..

no seriously thou what i'm disappoint by is we lost alot of people. There were alot of people posting some good art here in the beginning that haven't for a while including the chief himself. Tell me you guys didn't get pumped up just as much as i did when J.B. posted sketch's here with us !

For those of you who haven't  postred in awhile get off your candy ass's and post work we miss you. And for you lurkers who have up to this point not posted anything join in the fun.

Darren not to take anything away from "This Week" cause that's a brillance unto itself I think if our fellow boardies who haven't been keeping up with us don't do something about getting involved we 're gonna have to institute something like a weekly challenge  to get them involved. Cause if they don't I say you, I and our fellow Studio 108 cohorts get together have a few passes at the bar and hunt down all these lazy boys and at 3 am in the morning in our drunken state commence to belt out some good drinkin songs to teach them a lesson.

While everyone here is more than welcome to join up or get involved with the "This Week" forum I'd be hesitant in adopting such a "jam" here. This thread isn't really for that, as far as I can tell and also one kind of makes the other redundant IMO.

The odd collaberation here is special and adopting a sort of "expectancy" is likely to somewhat erode that special nature.

I -do- however feel your pain. I to was saddened by the loss of those earlier on and as much as I'd love to see John post more in this thread, he is already so giving of his time elsewhere on this board (remembering that we've somewhat hijacked this thread!) He also is already so giving with his pencils elsewhere on this site.

Once in a while, I'm sure John may pop in and may drop a sketch in here. Clearly there is a precidence for it as we can see.

Sometimes in an effort to seek pastures that are greener, we fail to see how pleasant the grazing is where we are. And, where we are is very pleasant!

I look around and see a thread that goes on, and on, and on. Filled to bursting with top-notch artwork and great people. Nope, I have very little to complain about here.

If we want more people to post (which has been happening recently) we have to lead by example. Post the way we would like others to.

And that's it bud, that is it.

Dave- That "Megabyte" cover looks awesome, nice work!

George - Great pieces, I especially love the Nightmare one and yes, that looks really hard to draw!

Darren-  Very cool "doodles" lol, I wish I could doodle like that. ;)
