lol...that was my other guess.

you can get a nice subdued texture effect by drawing on tracing paper
and then coloring the back of the paper...it's a nice muted look.

Justin Wasson - I was putting my son to sleep and remembered that I forgot to say that those face sketched are wonderful.  nice stuff on that.

John Staton - interesting take on Superman.  simple with a cartoon element, but sort of a graphic design as well with the cape and the symmetry to the body.  i like the crayon also.  I saw some awesome pieces in art school that were done with layering crayon.

Well, off to finish packing!!!

John- Nice design, reminds me of the Alex Toth Hanna Barbera
model sheets-thumbs up.
Tony- again, wonderful character. nice drawing.
Matt- Great color guide, your getting stronger choosing
complementary colors.
Justin-Could see too much of your post.
Chris- I forget the painters name but that piece reminds me of
his sequential work.
John- Superb!
Here an ink layout, still figuring out placement.

A rather eccentric friend of mine is going into police work and, at the same time, learning bagpipes so he can play in police ceremonies.  Asked me to "draw a tattoo for him of a skeleton wearing a tattered police shirt, a kilt, playing bag pipes in a graveyard with three tombstones saying "Honor the fallen" on them".  So this morning I did that, lol.

Not something I would have thought to draw on my own, but here it is...

This is a painting i had in my room when i stayed with my dad .i'd say its 23 year old.when me and my brother shared the same room he helped paint it.recently my dads cousin moved into the room and he wanted to keep it, last friday morning he died oronically the same day i turned a grandad. so my brother took this photo yesterday, and i thought what the heck i'll share it with you guys. hope you dig it.hopefully i'll take some other photos of the bits you can't see.
