LOL, no probs James...One of my favourite Billy [Conolly] skits is when he's bashing some tourist or another who complains about the weather and he finishes in his usually colourful way expressing that we are -not- the Caribbean. You wont sun for more than ten minutes at a time, seek climbs closer to the equator...there is a -very- good reason that we are all a light blue colour here in Scotland;-)

Wow Darren, thanks.

John Staton - glad you liked it.  It was a fast one

James Kilpatrick - thanks james.  since it is an animated character, I was going with simple lines and not a lot of hatching.  The colors are actually sub par, but they were quick.

Ed Munoz - thats one of the reasons we wanted to go at this time of the year.  Wish I had more time to maybe touch base with you.

Chris Yeoman - thank you Chris.  And i like to see the working process of folks so thanks for sharing that.

chris...i remember that piece after seeing the finished one.

so john, what are you trying to tell us with the "s" shape in supermans
crotch?

nice piece...it's almost like a caricature of the big blue boy scout.

i like the design element of the cape extending off the page.

what color medium is that? it gives a nice texture on the blue of his
suit...almost like the fabric it's made of.

as silly as this is about to sound, i used to get a similiar effect when i
used crayon on top of color pencils...i'd use anything i could get away
with...lol.
