Thanks James, and you will see more.  He is a character by Roger Ott, so that's why I apologized to him...

Thomas.  Could you explain your process for digital drawing on your tablet.

Well I just draw as I would on paper, but the only difference is I'm looking at the monitor instead of where my pen is moving.... it takes some getting used to, but not too hard. I also just set a new layer and like to have the brush size very small and set to 50% strength to give a light grey tone... just helps it feel like a pencil more and you can build up the lines and darkness

Yeah, Brian Bolland is all digital now, and used to have a great tutorial on his website, but his site has been down forever.

And I forgot to throw in that I did those inks all digital.  My first.

Matthew T. Carpenter, Sr: With sincerest apologies to Roger A. Ott II...

None necessary.  I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've ever had anyone else ink anything of mine, so thanks for choosing my scratches to do it over.  Looks great for a quickie!  I'm interested to see how awesome you'd do with more time.

James Stewart: who is that dude?

As Matthew said, he's a character I created.  He's called Gauntlet.  I posted a model sheet I did up for him back around page 197 if you're interested in checking it out.

Whew!  Glad you liked it.  The res was so low it was hard to work with a bit and I haven't produced too much digital ink yet.  I would love to do something with your charater in the future as soon as I get some other stuff I've promised to folks done.

Let me know when you've got the time, and I'll provide something better to work with.
