Vlad, your girl with the claws isn't the characters from the limited 7 part comics NYX from Marvel. ( I loved the first 3 or 4 issues, kept cotinuing to buy it because it was limited, but was very disappointed with the way it was handled at the end ! ).

Anthony, well, thank you very much for the nice words, but as I mentioned, mine is nothing compared to the beautiful illustration from Darren.

As a matter of fact, I would like to know if it could be acceptable that I redo some inking on it? ... Just the inking, nothing else, no new elements, no removing some others, because the more I see it and the more I see where I could have made it better, more understandable, too much stuff !... You know... Only sweet butterflies flying in a nice and quiet country park! .. And all those flowers are killing me !

Rich Henderson:

About 1/3 of the people I've shown this picture to
have that same reaction. LOL.

Vlad:

Yeah, I love jams for the different art styles.
Just can't wait to see it all. Gonna be a kick.

I drew another two Power-Girls, between last night and this morning. I had seen an sketch by Adam Hughes a few months ago about how not to draw your friends wife. I knew I would never top such a great piece but I wanted to adapt the idea somewhat for Power-Girl.

Anyway, I can post the first one here but not the second as it is a little "adult" in theme. You can see both here:

Here's the one I can share though:

Chris Yeoman -  I agree with Darren, good rough - now develop it.

Shawn Collins good character concepts.  i like rebel comet but his costume reminds me a little too much of Evil Knievel's.  agree with Darren again - let's see some new stuff.  don't worry if it's not perfect.  the more you do it, the better you'll get.  and the guys around here are very supportive, but helpfull as well.

Vladimir Fiks well, that's... gulp... ahem.  have to go defog my glasses...  well done Vlad!

Bill Wiist great Pumpkinman.  I really like the perspective.

Chris Yeoman no broken record.  using the same model is good to have consistency with what you're trying to learn.  I'll sugest that her right arm is a bit too long and her right thigh appears a bit thick due to the way it's stacked with the other thigh.  good effort on this - keep it up.

Darren Taylor - i'm at work so I can't comment on the naughty one.  as a matter of fact, even if i'm at home i can't comment on the naughty one!  another wonderful piece.  I learn so much from your inking.

The "Naughty" one is fully clothed she's just doing something "suggestive" with one of her hands. I'll leave that one to your imagination.

Inking is definitely a "learned" skill. Just because you can "draw" doesn't mean you can ink and the reverse being true also. But put the time in and inking is something I think most people can do. To what degree depends in the time, effort and understanding you experience throughout.

Textures, Clarity and Reverence. Three items you need to keep in mind when inking, the last is true of any pencils your are inking but especially when they are someone elses.

Darren -- like your inking style, particularly the bold use of blacks.
(And of course your figure work -- whew).

Bill -- love the rimlight that's coming in from back left.

Wish I was wise enough to comment more.
