Justin, I go through bouts of feeling like I don't want to even think about touching the paper. My best advice is to do exactly that. -Ban- yourself from every aspect of art for a week or fortnight. Then re-address the situation. I can tell you I was tearing my hair out by the second day!

It's one thing to mope about at your own leisure knowing you can pick up the pencil at any time but to realise that you are not allowed to...well it drove me nuts and I couldn't stop the barage of ideas that suddenly would assail me every minute of the day! I guess I never really "heard" them having trained myself to "quieten" them whilst I drew whatever was the project of the moment.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that Salma...er, I mean your Muse comes back soon bud. You're too much of a talent to let anything else happen.

Regards,

Darren.

Keep 'em coming Shawn.

Try putting a couple of these charactes in some panels to "excersise" those muscles too.

Didier did set the bar high i'll give him that. But i'll try not to disappoint you guys
especially with Vlad following me I have to give him something to work from.

Thanks Darren, Anthony

Darren - I would love to do just that ( put some in panels ), unfortunately I'm going through what you've been describing, I havent drawn anything in 15 years, everything I've posted so far was done in high school.  Kinda why I'm posting them at all is to see if the ideas behind them spark enough interest to continue developing.  Thanks again

I'd love to see you pick up a pencil again, Shawn. I think it would be
nifty to see someone getting back into it, and sharing the experience
as he does.
