Mmm Bruckner. I particularly like the, how do you call it, hairiness
with the lines crackling off the characters. ( I'll try to comment more
now that I've delurked, but I lack the skill to really do more than ooh
and ahh.)

Since my last casting call turned out great, thought I'd put out another one. We still have one or two spots left at Stan Lee's Sunday Comics at www.komikwerks.com. Take a look at the art quality present there. We have high standards. If you've got what it takes and have a cool concept of your own or a writer to partner with, then e-mail me links or attachments to sequential art samples at smashoutgames@yahoo.com. Artists or artist-writer teams only. SLSC creative teams are getting paid.

Matthew Thanks for all the feed back.  Sorry I took so long to get back.

The Black Rose : Thanks, it's my first attempt and I do appreciate all of Steve's advice.

Rapier : Mr Byrne got me hooked on flowing cloth and big women's hair LOL

Guy with stars : For lack of a better name I call him RAM, he is the beginning of one of my favorite stories.  He was the God of Light on an extradimensional world living in balance with his "brother" Tursur, God of Darkness, until Tursur learned to augment his powers by causing people to do evil deeds and feeding off the negative energy.  Tursur destroyed their world in this way.  RAM absorbed the remaining good energy and teleported to the next dimension. There he tried to convince the resident "good" god of Tursur's plans to conquer that world as well.  He failed. Then again on numerous worlds after that until he finally leap-frogged a few worlds ahead to Earth.  There he found a myriad of pantheons and instead of trying to convince any of them of Tursur's arrival he made plans with the primal goddess to create protectors.  To this end RAM, through various means and Gaea's help, absorbed qualities and powers from various powerful deities.  He then waited in a pocket dimension until Tursur made his move. Tursur arrived but found the many gods more than a challenge for his power so he schemed alliances with several evil gods.  In exchange for allegiance to him at some future time, he would show them how to sustain power when their religions failed.  Early in the twentieth century, the old gods came one by one to learn his secret.  At this time RAM released his absorbed powers into selected mortals parents causing thier children to become "reincarnations" of the various deities.  Each "New Earth God" lived as mortal, unaware of their powers even while exhibiting familiar qualites, until confronted by the evils of the various newly-empowered Old Gods.  RAM then approached each in turn, explained the dangers and asked for their help.  The graphic novel ought to be awesome.

Orion Quest - Excellent nachos, a decent cup of coffee and love, of course man! LOL, seriously he's a member of a family of space champions headed by his father, Titan.  He has energy based powers but his really interesting abilites come from his cybornetic implants which also serve as his immune system as he was born with a virus that would have killed him otherwise.

Long post I know, but be careful what you ask for and don't get me started : D

Matthew- thanks! Yes it was with my naked hand except I used comic books as my reference, but none of it's traced. I wish my brain could translate images like this to the paper but it never happends. I used coloring pencils and the backgrounds acrylic paint.

Shawn Collins -  I really like the concepts you have.  Thanks for sharing what you've got there.  Do you have them copyrighted yet?  Might look into that.  If I could only draw...

Chris Yeoman - Heh.  What I was refering to was your real, physical left hand was in the picture.  But I'm still impressed with what you did.  The only way I can draw is with reference, so some of us are just not geared that way!  But we're in good company considering that Alex Ross uses photo reference as well...
