Vlad's the Duke. He's turned my piece of trash into quite the gem, cheers mate. :) I'm going to move on to another drawing now.

Well, thanks guys, but there is no reason to put yourselves down, it's just
a different approach. Both of you have your own styles.

AJL - Well those are (cough) pretty saucy there!  They look like they have all the right parts in all the right places! :)

Chris - I think your efforts were/are going fine.  Your illustration is NOT trash!!!  You are learning, just as many here are.  Vlad's been doing art for at least 100 or more years(hehe), so yeah, his stuff comes off as a little more polished than yours and mine.

I suggest that you finish the piece.  The biggest reason is that looking at other's work helps us to mimic at first, then grow into our own style.  Practice is essential.  My attitude lately is to work on things and finish them whether I like it or not.  My problem is that I've gotten myself into a very bad habit of when I don't like it, or it's too much work, that I just don't finish it.  Not saying that that's what you're doing, but I’d hate for you to fall into that work ethic.

Go ahead and finish it.  Do it for the JBF.  Do if for Queen and country!!  Do it for me!!!!!!  :)

And most importantly, do it for yourself.

Chris you definately should finish that piece it is shapeing up good. It's gonna come for you .You'll find your zone and then BOOM you'll be rocketing to the moon.

Thanks Matthew .You know there is an intresting story attached to those sketch's. Back when i worked for a airbrush studio SM airbrushing (which i don't recommend anyone use the owner is a jerk) The owner was trying to branch out into the digital world because of my influnece. So he got in contact with a client partygirls.com or something or other. The client obviously wnated some hot looking girls as his log .He wanted something manga in design. My former boss askeed me to design some samples. I did three or four. those two being amoung them. the way we had pay handled for any digital work i did i got a percentage of what we charged the client 60/40 split with me getting  60 . After  week of not hearing anything i asked my boss about it . he says that the client didn't like the design and wanted to go with something else. I discovered that the client did like the designs. My former boss tried cutting me out of the deal and claimed the work as his own. So i resolved the issue by taking my work back and not tell him anything since i wasn't paided he didn't own the pieces .So when the client came my former boss couldn't deliever so he lost the client .

Thank you Matthew! I usually dislike 90% of my stuff but this one I'm quite happy with for some reason. :) Maybe coz it's quite simple and flowed for once lol.

Well, I can't stop drawing at the moment...here's a really scruffy sketch I just did. Anthony suggested I do a rough plan first and Vlad's helped me with muscle work so I guess I'm learning. :) Can't get how the eyes should be though?
