Chris - you're comming on strong! Like the Superman. Just
for curiosity sake - and no other reason, I promise - are you working
from photos, out of your head, or a combo of both?

Since I seem to be drawing lots of "provocative" women of late I felt it was time to poke some fun at myself;-)

Nice Superman Chris.
Strong jaw line and "bolder" more confident lines from you.

Darren - great comic strip. Drinking and knockers always add up to good art work!

Thanks Darren and Matthew.
Matthew- I use a combination of photo's and my limited imagination.
Usually photo's I take of myself or friends to be sure I get the
proportions right, then I'll hit the comics to make sure I get the
costumes correct.
It's not the most talented way I know, but from my head to paper it's an ugly sight.

Chris - nothing wrong with that, especially if you're taking your own
photos. You can take pictures all day long, but it still takes
tallent to be able to correctly portray what's going on in them with a
pencil.
Mine's pretty ugly as well. I use photos for most of my illustration work.
Good stuff - keep it coming.

heh, I really do wish I could bang em out from thought to paper like a
lot of people do here, but it just looks so lame, so I need the photo
ref. I hope one day I'll be so used to drawing the human form that I'll
be able to do it.
I must add though that I do alter the photo's so that they don't look
like me everytime and shape them into looking more like Superheroes, so
there is a very little part that's from my head, but I still hate it
lol.
