Anthony,

Thank you.  I agree with you about my inking, it sux!  I pencilled the drawing (lightly and in somewhat breakdown fashion) and then took a sharpee to it.  I did little more than trace my own work, adding the details in as I went along.  I don't know how to ink much better than that.  Sorry.

OK, let's see...

Marc - I really like that Marvel Girl.  And I think your inks are fine.

Satana is good.  Inks look a little dark around the eyes and hand, but that's a nit pick.

James - excellent sketch book page!  exactly what one should look like! - great colors on Marc's piece!

Tomas - Deadly little Miho is very well done.  You've handled the very graphic black and white quality well.  The Nazi Ninja throwing star thing and the bow handle look a bit akward in that they are part black and part white, but I think for me it would be a hard choice to figure out a good solution for that as well.  Good job on both pieces.

Charles - I won't have that kind of talk as long as I'm around!  You do a fine job at what you're posting and we're all at different levels.  No depression!!!  Just looking, learning, and turning it into a positive creative flow. :)

Mike - you have a wonderful quality to your line work on your sketches.  As for using photos, I used an old B&W pic on my indian warior (don't remember if you saw it earlier).  I love to work that way and I am hoping to do more in the near future.

Well if I missed anyone, I'm sorry.  Off to listen to some classical music, drink a beer, and ink a piece I'm working on for AJL.

Until tomorrow...

Thanks, James.  I haven't done any celebrities in a long time.  I wish I had some to post.  Maybe down the road sometime I will.  I've been thinking about drawing Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, or possibly with the cowl.  I haven't decided yet.  I have at least three more portraits I've committed to doing before that happens.

And Matthew, thanks!  Keep at it!

Thanks James! I just wish I could draw more comic book style, I'm getting bored with my portraits and I struggle with being so natural at it like you fellers.
