Justin Vlad great job inking what i'm guessing is Venom... I'm decided Vlad If ever i were to be working in the industry You'd be the guy i'd want inking over my pencils. You always seem to get the feel i look for.
Justin for it being your first time I think you acomplished the job superbly.
Bill over all about your painting there isn't much i can say other than You've made a specticle of it Something worthy of the classic that is Kong... The only thing i would add is Kong nose I think needs a little tweeking something doesn't seem quite right. Also the fur If you could perhaps make the fur look like its blowing more in the wind it would be cool and perhaps add varing colors as highlinghts on the fur. I feel you would make your already excellent look piece even better.
Great work all around

Thanks Anthony. I know it's not my best, and that's why I said right away that it was "crude", but I'm a competitive guy, and as long as I can see someone else do something, I figure I can do it too. So Vlad, fantastic job, and keep on inspiring me to be a better artist. That goes to everyone on this board too.

LOL Give me a call than. :) Seriously, that's nice to hear. Jeff's piece was
really fun to do. The pencils were a bit loose, so I treated them as break
downs, hopefully Jeff doesn't mind.

That's a great attitude Justin. Inking with the Wacom, is like any other
tool, it takes time to learn the right approach. It took me a year of
practicing to get to a point where I felt comfortable with it.
You have the skills, now it's just a matter of marrying them with the new
tool.

Vlad & A. Lombardi -
Thanks for the compliments.
I was considering doing a few touch-ups after I got
some fee-back, so I'll be taking your comments into
consideration. Thanks!
Below is a quickie thumbnail I did last night for my
next two paintings. I'm always reluctant to show my
thumbs because they are usually so rough only I can
translate them. This is better than most, though,
since I've based them off a couple of photos. Take it
for what it's worth:

This is painted portrait that I did for a friend of mine. Some of the detail
is lost at this smaller size, but you get the idea.

Vlad you know i'll be calling, Fantastic paint It has such a photo realistic appeal to it good show. Bill i look forward to seeing the next two pieces especially Mrs. Peel in her skin tight body suit :)
This is a rough sketch thats gonna end up a digital parody of possibly one of thee most homaged scenes in the world of comics so i decided it was time for me to do my part. But instead of my usual style i would go more cartoony with it
