James- Thanks for your comments! Glad you like it. And yes I modeled Buffy as my Black Canary as I think she'd be a good choice for a role!?

Charles- I'm not familiar with the movies?

Thanks,
Chris

I decided to change what i originally planned with this one. To my dismay i had forgotten today was a friend's birthday. That is until his wife called this morning and invited me over to surprise him. So since he's a huge Hulk fan I decided to do a simple figure drawing of it and add some shadeing for him.

There has been a long discussion of artist reference and tracing and such in another thread recently.. I was looking at this Getty images site for some celebrity photos and happened upon some shots of athletes and realized what a great resource this site is for artistic reference. I think shots of tennis players in particular are great references for action images in comics.. they've even got flying photos -- :D

Anyone want to take a stab at inking and coloring my Venom on page 104?  I've been gone awhile, some great stuff, everyone.

Here's a pic from me. I pencilled it before summer and inked last night. It's a cover for my upcoming book and...Well, here it is.

Thanks for the pictures Charles. Interesting that my drawing reminded you of them?

Anthony- Wonderful pencil work. I'm sure your friend loved it?

Yeah, I don't know how relevant it is. I just thought you might be interested in my reaction. Definitely the realistic nature of them is similar.
