Darren i also suffer lets get it over with sometimes. I admit that I sometimes can have a bit of an ego, I'll certainly feed the monster in private or amoungst friends but with everyone else I'll be humble. Back in my high-school days when it came to my art i was arrogant and egotisical. But i learned just how much i needed to improve when i entered into the convention circuit and met the pro's . So yeah i let my Monster live a little but mostly keep him at bay...
Anyhow.... This piece isn't finished i've sketched it out but before i add shadeing and tighten it up i'd like to ask for critique . I'm opening to any suggestions... Oh keep in mind the back ground isn't sketched yet but i'm thinking just some old run down house in shadows maybe some bats...

Cool, Anthony. Is batman falling?

I recall a Pacheco cover (on spanish editions only) focused on The Hulk similar to your pose

Yes Felipe he is, If there would be a next panel it would be the hulks fist smashing down on the ground..... Batmans fallin backwards out of the way would go into him rolling out of the way .

Mike - Welcome to the party, that's an interesting amalgam, talk about
two different ends of a spectrum.

Chris - Good piece but, she's got an arrow, where's the bow. LOL

Felipe - I always enjoy seeing your sketches. Sketches in general really,
they show the a glimpse into the inner workings of the artists thinking
process.

Anthony - That looks really good so far, please post the finished version.

Thanks Vlad. I agree with you. The finishing of a piece lose something always, IMHO.

The last one of today. I'll be out a week again. Hasta la vista y que lo paseis bien.

Anthony here would be my suggestion. Do not be frightened to add some large stark black areas to this piece. He's [the Hulk] got his arms raised like that giving you a great oppertunity to have some fun with drop shadow from his arms over Batman!

In this way, the areas left in the light will carry more power with some nice rendering. Also don't shy away from bleeding these blacks right into the background blacks!!

Just my suggestion for an otherwise cool piece.
