Thanks, Anthony.  Very sweet of you.  I LOVE this thread, such talent, passion, desire to learn and improve.... all-around.  The Sue pic is obviously anatomy-challenged, but I am sort of impressed with how the "relaxed" look turned out.  Often, amateurs like myself, have a difficult time drawing comic-figures that don't look "stiff" or "posed".  I often look at the work of the pros and think... JEEZ, how do they make the figures in that panel look so fluid and dynamic!

Hey!  When is our unofficial CHIEF, Darren gonna start a new "sort of" Jam!?  Maybe where he pics a character and we all draw something and post it around the same time.  I LOVE seeing different takes on characters, always have, even in comics.  For example, when JB left Marvel and started at DC, I was like... WOW, I can't wait to see his take on so and so...and so on.  SHOULD Darren choose to accept his assignment to oversee this, I vote for an semi-unusual character, someone people rarely think of.  My vote for the first round of doing this would be Marvel's VALKYRIE.

Marc when you think something you've done is "anatomy challanged" Might I suggest keeping the following artist in mind. Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Todd McFarlane,

Hey I was gonna say Liefeld .... Just kidden :)
Seriously thou what i meant by choosing the names i did was that all three of those artist took alot of liberty when it came to figure drawing and the proper placement of anatomy. But all three are great artist in their own right. In Kirby's case he could have done anatomy really well i've seen some of his non superhero work and it looks good. Ditko was going for a quirky style. As for Mcfarlane, from a design sense i think he does have a flair for making things look cool....With Liefeld i couldn't find anything redeeming about his art (thou i'm sure some could) so i didn't pick him.
