Vlad - what is your regular 9 to 5 if you don't mind sharing?

I make my living as an Art Director.

When and where is a good time to "halo"?

Don't use it often and usually only when I do a simpler more graphic
drawing with heavy blacks.

Ok, I used comics for reference on this one so I don't feel as good about it, but I wanted to have a play so I did.

Vlad - thanks for the info on both questions.

Chris - thank you for the kind words.  I really like your WW.  Using reference is fine for learning and working out certain poses, angles, etc.  I use refernece all the time - maybe too much!

Chris well done with that WW very nice indeedy, and thanks for the nice comments. I  think your stuff is just as good as anything i do,sometimes i think of the 10 year i wasted drinking with my drinking buddies, when i gave up drinking to much and started drawing, one of my x friends said "is that all you f****g do,draw"he ended up doing a 12 year sentence for robbery.I'm glad i stuck at it but i still have millions to learn. So keep drawing Chris.

Thanks James for the kind words.. The things that are bothering me are the bridge of the nose ,the lips and just the over all quality of my pencil stroke. I want to make the stroke a little more smooth. I feel that i made the bridge of Vincent's nose a bit too thick and his lips should be a bit softer and thicker.

By the way i love your rendition of Torch of Liberty . I like the character alot and you handled it very good.
