Anthony L. Thanks, That really is kind of you. I love the old stuff
so much i can't shake it. Theres a market for that kind of work
and its too bad most guys don't follow it, Darren great job,
excellent as usuall.
Anyway, i have to get started on some pieces i put aside
because of my 9-5 but i'm taking a day off today to finish them
and send them out.
You might remember them.

Anthony - you've been doing a bang up job with your head sketches lately.  I don't often link to other sites (so I won't electrify it) but check out what this guys been doing with universal monsters (and everyone else that wants to also).  Do a search and he's got quite a few up there.  I know you like that sort of thing, and his technique is -awesome- to say the least!

Not a monster, but still awesome:

James - can I borrow you're toothbrush real quick?

Your colors are cool.  Maybe a little red wouldn't hurt just to give it some contrast.

Great SB now the colours are added, and "Yes" you need to do something to seperate the flame from the background.

I hear you.  That's the one reason I don't get more drawing done myself.  Between work, wife, and kids doing their thing there is very little time for me stuff.  But I can't complain.  That's what it's all about for me now.

Hey Darren,

I encourage you to pursue the cover route! If you don't trust yourself enough to handle a regular monthly gig, then covers are just the thing. Many new comics companies would pay you decently to do a cover for them, and the big boys pay damn good, as you well know. You've got the portfolio, you're fast - go for it!
